A pictorial diary of sorts for our rescue chick, called *Chikky* to his (yes he did turn out to be a cockerel!) gaining new friends in the guise of MiMi and LuLu with their pink palace called the "Eglu".

The Eglu comes from a company called OMLET if you click the name a new page will open to their website.

For those that like info regarding what we do for our three chicks here are the facts and figures..sort of... Clean out the Eglu every 3rd day, (well we like clean sheets so the chicks get the same change over days we do!) fresh water daily with added Citricidal, in the feed we use Garlic powder and Chicken Spice,
adding grit as well and when we use eggs I bake the shells crush them and place in a bowl for the girls, who love them!
We purchased the extra length chicken netting so that they have a secondary run, which gets repositioned once a week, so that they have fresh pastures new to play in, also at the begining of the month we add for 3 days Verm-X incase of nasty parasites..

Note: If you place your curser over the pictures you will find text about each image.
