3 D Mania?

Warner Bros has confirmed that it will release the next Harry Potter films in 3D. The two Deathly Hallows movies, which are based on Jk Rowling’s final book in the wizard series, will cost $5 million a piece to convert to the 3D format, says The Hollywood Reporter. The news comes in the week t Avatar smashed the $1.843 billion all-time box office record held by Titanic

Ahh yes, I wonder what Mark Kermode will say, he really doesnt like 3d..oh dear….

RHE not impressed..

The precious is on hold again.The Hobbit has been pushed back to the end of 2012, according to Variety. The studio tells the trade the best outlook for the Lord of the Rings prequels is in the fourth quarter of that year, but even that’s not set in stone.

So now lets see, ahh yes 3dness..

Clash of the Titans has been pushed back to April 2nd ( of course this is changeable, but a firm confirmation has come that this is to be revamped into 3d too.. goodness Marks going to go nuts.. chuckles

shhh..guess what whispers of Gremlins3, and its 3d!..…

double shhhh.. Ghostbusters 3 in 3d!

Nanny McPhee

So much awaited by some the next chapter in the Nanny McPhee story is

‘The Big Bang’

This time the ever changing Nanny McPhee warts and all goes to a family with a rather harrassed mother… the story is not all that disimilar to the last but I suspect it will be good fun… expect flying piglets, burping crows and a lot of mud…..Good one for the childrens collection when it comes out on DVD I`m sure.

The release date is 26th of March 2010 the cast includes…

Ok, so Avatar, not a lot to say but this..

its brilliant! I adored the colour, the imagery, ok so the story wasnt hard to work out, but what an amazing piece of work..I wonder if this will get nominated for an Oscar, last time I looked at some of the oscar board they didnt take overly kindly to *cartoons* and Sci Fi, rhe.. well lets hope they get their acts together.

I was at the premier and had a ball, and looking forward to the proposed Avatar 2…ooohhhh…

Up in the Air

Again another premier, was good fun and like Avatar we got to talking/listening to the director and some of the cast.

Some suggest George is doing *Geoge*, well perhaps, but in this film he should be just that, for those that travel a bit you will see familiar things and think..I know exactly whats happening, the few secret titters, a chuckle here and there, a very poignant end.

I loved it and like Avatar I think this should get an Oscar too

Alice In Wonderland & Pirates of the Caribbean

I knew I would fall into blogging…oh well.

As suggested or even hinted at this particular blog is about film, not entirely sure where it will end up..current gossip? current dress, does he or she look good in that..OMG did you see what they wore?

Or just info and or tittle tattle about up and coming films…

Oh well lets see..First up then…

Looking forward to Alice in Wonderland…Lets face it who wouldnt want to fall down a rabbit hole?

So, Release date set for the 5th of March 2010 (UK)

19-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror..eek

Some of the cast, include the divine and wonderful Stephen Fry and the caustically funny Alan Rickman, who lets face it was the very best in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.. didnt he just take the lead..(Must confess to it being one of most fav films )

Ohh and talking of Johnny Depp…

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides

The new “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” will begin filming in Hawaii this summer. Our beloved Johnny Depp is back as the flamboyant Captain Jack, and Geoffrey Rush reprises his role as his adversary, Barbossa.

But no more Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley! And the director Gore Verbinski has walked the plank too. He’s to be replaced by … wait for it … “Nine” and “Chicago” director Rob Marshall.

And as I type the cast and all manner of things is still as fluid as the tides!

The film’s story is loosely based on the 1987 pirate novel, “On Stranger Tides” by award-winning fantasy author Tim Powers.
